So at first, there are four criteria to judge whether you are a qualified English learner or not.
Pronunciation
Fluency
Grammars
Contents
Pronunciation is the first impression you left on your examiner. If you can speak standard British or American accent, you will impressed the examiner a lot.

Normally it will not influence your grades if you can articulate every word clearly.
That is a very good question because this is what I want to say next. Except native British and American, even the Canadian and the Australian do not speak standard British or American accent. So the most important thing is you pronounce every word right and clearly.
About the fluency. Since we will be extremely nervous when we facing the examiner, we will speak a lot modal particles (语气词)unintentionally, and we speak most of them in Chinese, like 额,emmmmm
This will negatively affect your grades because the examiner will think you are not proficient in English speaking.

Three to five times at most. This will influence your grade.
So my suggestion is, you can speak a little more slowly if you have not fully prepared your next sentence.
For students who have difficulty in speaking, I suggest that you can memorize what you want to say for part 2 before tests.
And do not attend oral tests in January, May and September, because the questions will be changed in these three months.
It’s often difficult to find proper words and expressions when I’m taking test.

Find a partner to practice before tests!
And if you can not find the proper English expressions, write down the Chinese one at first, then look up the dictionary to find the English one. You can prepare a small notebook to accumulate these expressions.
English learning is in essence memorizing and accumulating!

Since we do not differentiate “he” “she” orally in Chinese, and our verbs do not change because of different tenses,(中文口语中没有人称,单复数和时态变化),we tend to ignore these little things when we speak English.
It’s really a big problem.
Though these small mistakes will not influence the underreading of your contents, they will make the examiner think you are not professional enough.
My suggestion:
record your words when you are speaking, play it afterwards to check whether there are small mistakes, and pay special attention to these mistakes next time.
Actually, won’t foreigners make grammar mistakes in their daily talk
Sometimes they will and sometimes they even simplify some expressions for convenience, so it is ok to make mistakes in daily conversations.
But!!!
In oral tests, try your best to avoid them!
So speak slowly is really a good way to ensure fluency and grammar.

Normally the examiner do not pay special attention to your contents, but in some cases, if what you talks about can raise his or her interest, you may get a pretty high score.
So my suggestions are:
for part 1 and part 3, say the real case in your life.
For part 2, prepare every topic before tests and remember the general contents, try something special and interesting.

Firstly, find a partner to practice with you. Speaking aloud in front of others is one of the most effective way to improve your oral skills and raise your confidence.
Secondly, watch some British and American TV programs if you have time, it will help you correct your pronunciations unconsciously! And it can also improve your listening skills!
Thirdly, repeat one topic several times for fluency ~

According to my experience, the most effective way is pretending they are not there, and you are allowed to speak whatever you want.
I often feel very nervous during the exam.
How can I adjust my own mentality before the exam, or can I prepare for it?
Most examiners are kind and friendly! Just think that you are talking with a friend will reduce your nervousness ~
And!
When exercising with your partner, tell him or her treat the practice as an official test and he or she is the examiner. The familiarity with the procedure will reduce the nervousness too~

The current oral exam seems to be divided into human-machine dialogue or direct dialogue with the examiner.
What are the suggestions for these?
All the tips mentioned above are available for direct dialogue with the examiner.
For the human-machine dialogue, remember to articulate every word clearly.
Oral test is not that difficult if you prepare ahead of time and be confident in front of the examiner ~
You can try some tips mentioned above in your daily exercise.
