chapter 1 —— What are the advantages of studying abroad?

You can learn better English.
You can make more friends.
You can experience different cultures.
You can travel around.

chapter 2 —— some reasons/advantages why you want to study abroad.

1st: You want to see the world.

It gives you an opportunity to see the world. By studying abroad, you will experience a brand-new country with incredible new outlooks.

You can also see the natural wonders, different wonderful museums and landmarks of your host nation.

Students, there are some very good vocabularies you can write down for revision. And when you are abroad, you won’t be limited to traveling in just the nation in which you study, you can see neighboring countries as well!!!

For example, if you study in Australia, you can travel to New Zealand. If you study in United Kingdom, you will have the option to travel through various parts of Europe including Paris, Rome, Berlin, Barcelona etc.

2nd benefit: EDUCATION! You want to have quality education.

You want the chance to experience different styles of education.

By studying abroad, you will have the chance to see a side of your major that you may not have been exposed to at home.

There is one important thing: Completely immersing yourself in the education system of your host country is a great way to really experience and understand the people, it’s traditions and it’s culture.

chapter 3 —— how’s Australian education?

University education in Australian consists of both government and private institutions.
There are about 43 universities: 40 public universities, two internationals universities and one private specialty university.
So there are many good universities for you to choose.

chapter 4 —— 害怕用英语与人交流，该如何踏出第一步？

For you to read better, read more.
For you to listen better, listen more.
For you to write better, write more.
For you to speak better, speak more.

We need to push ourselves.

Motivation comes for inside, comes from your heart.

1st: Don’t be afraid, don’t be shy.

Will somebody kill you if you speak English?

Will somebody kill you if you speak it wrong?

NO!

Who cares?

It’s ok to makes mistakes. It doesn’t hurt. And nobody cares.

Then what to do first?

My suggestion: Choose any books you like, and read it aloud in your room.This can practice your pronunciation and give you some confidence at the first stage.

2nd: Find some friends and practice/speak English together.

Once you are good at speaking aloud as you practice it in your private place. Now you can find some good friends, speak English to each other. This is also practice. But this stage of speaking is to conquer your fear of speaking to others.

3rd: After practicing/speaking English with friends for some time.

It’s time to speak to strangers now. I know you all can speak some/much English. But I also know sometime when you meet a foreigner or a stranger, you can’t speak a word. (It happened to me long time ago)

Speak to strangers, meet some foreign friends. Kill your fear of speaking in public.

Remember: Kill your fear of speaking in public.

Hone your language skills! This is the major benefit.

Studying abroad grants you the opportunity to completely immerse yourself in a new language, and there is no better way to learn than to dive right in.

chapter 5 —— 国内外教学氛围有些什么区别？

1st:There are some differences obviously.

我自己发现最大最大的一个分别是：你身边大学的朋友，会有不同年龄阶段的朋友，20、30、40、50 岁的同学和你一起学同一门课。

这是我最喜欢的，也是最应该提倡的。

终身学习、学无止境。

就如一句英语：Late, but never too late!

2nd:The more you read, the higher score you can get in a test. So, you need to read more.

老师上课讲的东西不多（本科），所以下课就需要学生自己多阅读老师指定的一些教科书。

3rd : difference is that you can WORK part time and make good money!!!

In Australia or any other western countries, you can work part time and make good money. You may even make twice as much as a full-time job here.

Sometimes even more!

Besides working part time, when you finish your study in other countries, your academic background is better recognized by many big companies in the world which can help you get a better job!

chapter 6 —— Is there many student from China?Or come from all around the world?

you will meet many Asian students ( many of them are from China), you will meet others from all over the world.
I have many friends in US, they are Americans, Mexicans, Chinese, Koreans, Japanese, German, British….

chapter 7 —— 留学同时，在海外开始实习？

Beside having part time job and make part time money.

You can apply for an internship. There are many choices, some are paid internship, some are unpaid internship. You can learn a lot from working for foreign companies.

I had an unpaid internship for a company for six months.

It’s fun working for them. You will have the chances to meet many people and see different things.
